Helping Haifa Writers in Publishing their Books
Assistance in publication of literary works was the largest domain of personal scholarships granted by the Foundation. Over the years, Haifa Arts Foundation awarded grants to novelists, writers, poets and playwrights from Haifa, old and young.

Haifa Poems Anthology - Hakibbutz Hameuchad Publishing House
Haifa Arts Foundation assisted in the publication of the Haifa Poems anthology, published by Hakibbutz Hameuchad with the assistance of the national lottery, edited by Shunit Cohen, Ilana Shahaf and Uzi Shavit. The anthology includes a selection of 88 poems about the city of Haifa, written by poets over a period of about 100 years, with 36 photographs taken by the best photographers between 1912 and 2012, the year of publication. The photos are of natural, urban and human landscapes, attempting to reflect a variety of voices of cultures, religions and nationalities that exist side by side in Haifa.

Lev HaPri Magazine
Lev HaPri was published by the Student Union at the University of Haifa. The magazine showcases stories and poems by Jewish and Arab students.
Poetry and Literature Paths - Holiday of Holidays Festival
Haifa Arts Foundation's support for the Holiday of Holydays Festival enabled a total renovation of outdoor posters in Hana Abu Hanna's Poet's Way, and in Sami Michael's Author's Path, Man is the Crown of God's Creation. The renewal included printing, framing and hanging of the posters.
Supporting Publication of Periodicals
Haifa Arts Foundation encouraged publication of literary anthologies by familiar organizations such as the Haifa Association of Writers, in order to allow local writers, especially those at the beginning of their way, to publish personal works in a scope that does not allow for publication of a full-scale book. Sometimes, the Foundation itself referred striving writers to the editors. In addition, the Foundation assisted in the publication of journals whose staffers were from Haifa, while the writers, poets, painters and sculptors whose workes were published were from all over the country.
