2010 Music Scholarships

Haifa Arts Foundation handed out scholarships in music at a festive ceremony held in January in the presence of:

  • Mrs. Hedva Almog - Deputy and Substitute Mayor of Haifa
  • Mrs. Bracha Sela – Substitute Chair of the Foundation's Board
  • Mrs. Aviva Spigelstein – Foundation Director

Deputy and Substitute Mayor Mrs. Hedva Almog and Mrs. Aviva Spigelstein, Director of the Foundation, give the scholarships to students

 The scholarships were awarded to 26 outstanding students from Haifa's music conservatories:

  • Yuval Music Center - 8 scholarships
  • Dunie Weizman Conservatory - 8 scholarships
  • The Samuel Rubin Conservatory - 10 scholarships

Conservatory managers, teachers, scholarship recipients and their families, attended the ceremony.

After awarding the scholarships there was a screening of the Israeli film Five Hours from Paris, which won Haifa Arts Foundation's first prize at the 2009 Haifa International Film Festival.
