The Best Bear There Is won best play at the Haifa International Children's Theater Festival, gaining the Haifa Arts Foundation Prize

A grant for short films and a network series by Haifa artists or short films and a network series that take place in Haifa.

Invitation to Tender literary grants, November 2021

Haifa Arts Foundation hereby announces the provision of literary grants for authors and poets from Haifa (prose, poetry, children's books). 

Invitation to Tender Szabo Foundation, 2021

Aiming to promote informal education, the Szabo Foundation, via the Haifa Arts Foundation, is launching an invitation to tender to award monetary prizes to instructors whose work with youth is in the field of informal education.

Music Scholarships 2021

Haifa Arts Foundation bestowed fifty scholarships to outstanding music students, ten from each of the following institutes:

March 2021. First Place Winner, Haifa International Children Theater Festival

The play The Magic Letter, which tells the story of a letter written by Nitai to his mother, was announced first-place winner and Haifa Arts Foundation Prize winner, in the Best Children's Play category.

Jam Ham - Haifa Youth Concert

The Haifa Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the Haifa Municipality, supported the production of the "Jam Ham" concert, which took place at Gan Haem on September 28, 2021, under the artistic direction of Heidi Lipman Yosef and under the direction of Idan Alterman.

December 2020

Support for What Will the Neighbors Say exhibition at the City Museum

Haifa Arts Foundation helped produce the exhibition What Will the Neighbors Say, in cooperation with the Association for LGBTQ People in Israel.

November 2020

Rotem Gabay was the recipient of the 2020 filmmaking grant for her short feature film Whose Child Is This, set in Haifa.

October 2020 – Winner, Best Play, Haifa International Children Theatre Festival

The play My Hugo, telling the story of Noa and Hugo, her grandpa, was announced first place in the best children's play category and winner of Haifa Arts Foundation Award.

Music Scholarships 2020

Haifa Arts Foundation bestowed fifty scholarships to outstanding music students, ten from each of the following institutes:

  • Youval Music and Youth Orchestras Center
  • Dunie Weizman Conservatory of Music
  • The Rubin Conservatory of Music, Haifa
  • Alcarmel Music Association
  • Beat Music School

Because of the Corona virus, no ceremony took place this year.

Literature Creation Grant 2019
  • Four writers were granted by the Foundation for their literary works:
  • Susel Elisheva for "Choomi" (Prose)
  • Hannah Sequerra for " Voices From the Silent End" (Poerty)
  • Tali Amit – Kochavi for " There Are Sharks Behind the carousel" (Children literature)
  • Irit Weisman-Minkovitz for "The  Magician of Sleep" (Children literature)
