2024 Fellowships and Scholarships
On Sunday July 7, 2024, the Creative Literature Grants of the Haifa Arts Foundation were awarded during a ceremony held at the Haifa Municipality Conference Hall. The ceremony was moderated by the Foundation’s Acting Chairperson Mrs. Bracha Sela, in the presence of members of the Foundation Management and General Assembly, CEO Mrs. Aviva Shpigelshtein, representatives of the Judging Panel, Fellowships and Scholarships recipients and members of their families.
Fellowships Recipients:
- Nizan Weisman for “Separation Diary” (Prose)
- Muli Peleg for “What is holding you” (Poetry)
- Iris Rilov for “Electricity in the air” (Prose)
- Liora Goldman for “Cry Bridge” (Poetry)
- Dori Derdikman for his debut book “Darkness at Noon” (Poetry)

The Chairman of the Judges Panel, Shlomo Abramovich, addressed the audience. Abramovich is a writer and poet, Winner of the 2021 Prime Minister Prize for his novel “The Shelved Diary”, member of the Hebrew Writers’ Association and Chairman of the Haifa and the Northern Region Writers’ Association. |
